School Values

Kia Ora

we have been checking out a range of ways to present information. I love word clouds and was curious to find one where students could add ideas in real-time and the cloud is being made. Our focus was sharing what we thought the school values meant to us. I then took a screenshot of each one and here they are.

Then we applied this information and made a mosaic here is an example created by Samsalvation:

  1. Kia ora Room 9! This is Whenua, from Paroa School in Greymouth.
We really like the way you created the word clouds and made them colourful. We like how you have explained at the start what you did.
One of our school values is also Manaakitanga, which is cool because we both have something in common.
How did you make your word clouds? What are some of the other ways you used to share your values?
We look forward to reading your reply 😄

    1. Kia Ora Brooke,
We celebrate our values in our Friday Assemblies, and we have created a mosaic explaining what we think the each value means. They were more challenging to create and we have to use the polyline tool in Google Draw. The word clouds we made using this link wordclouds. We could only do a couple at a time (especially when the teacher went out to see what they looked like. What other values do you have at your school?
